Did a video call with the ”Binance” team a few weeks ago. They wanted $300,000 and 3% of all DGB for ”insurance for their customers against blockchain hacks & defects” to list $DGB. Told them that is not possible with a truly decentralized #blockchain like #DigiByte.

I am tired of seeing truly #decentralized blockchains such as $BTC, $LTC, $DGB being compared on @coinmarketcap against centralized crap like: 100% premined @ripple, @bitshares (12 servers) & @NEO_Blockchain (7 servers). New investors are being mislead.
4/ So what does NEO use? Supposedly, NEO uses a delegated Byzantine fault tolerant consensus algorithm. This means that NEO holders elect a set of nodes to be in charge of the consensus process. Currently that's just 7 (!) nodes run by the NEO Foundation, essentially like Ripple.

#Dogecoin is great. I have fond memories of helping fix it w/ #DigiByte #DigiShield in 2014 when its chain froze. However, it has no coin limit & depends on #Litecoin for merge mining. Take a hard look at $DGB. The best combo of decentralization, speed & security out there. 👍.

100%. I figured this out in 2013 when I stopped mining #bitcoin because the Chinese gov was subsidizing & consolidating $BTC hardware manufacturing and mining pools. China controls BTC. No one group has a monopoly on #DIgiByte. We are continually working to keep it that way.

The worst #Bitcoin crash I lived through mentally was in the spring of 2013. $BTC ran from $30 to $266 & crashed back down to $66. I lost half my Bitcoin when I panic sold at $80. Bought back in at $160. Lesson learned.
