Today I am working on the 6th edition of the #socialcarenurses #journal. Thank you 🙏 for all your contributions. As I work on this I am listening to a 1978 playlist which is giving me clear memories of this age defining year for me. Happy times, the power of music

@Justacarehomeg1 @CathHamilton1 The 2 tier system penalises all who require support in different ways. the less available care home places are for people who require funding support means longer stays in hospital or more admissions to hospital due to critical incidents at home & repeat leads to delays & so on.

@JaimeJMMcNab @Justacarehomeg1 @scotgov The real cost of care needs to be paid this would avoid the need for different rates for. How can we be saying that care is free at point of delivery when it doesn’t cover the costs of care in a cate homes. So sad that this is still an issue
