All that pain, for those who lost loved ones and those who worried, every moment of every day when their loved ones were serving in country, often for several tours. One of those on multiple tours was my child. I sent a husband to war and that was hard, sending a child was worse.

Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical. Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it.
