Friday Fun: . If you were to go back to college now, what would you major in the second time around? . I did my undergrad in Computer Engineering. If I were to go back now, I'd major in psychology. I think understanding humans is infinitely more complex than bit and bytes.

💥 Women own just 9% of equity value in Silicon Valley per our recent study with @cartainc. Equity translates to wealth and power which ultimately shapes our industry and culture for decades to come. We’ll never have an equal seat at the table until we close #TheGapTable.
1/ Recently we published #TheGapTable and called on the industry to measure diversity of cap tables. We suspected women are vastly underrepresented as owners in tech startups. Thanks to our partnership with @CartaInc, we now have the data to prove it.

Netflix didn’t expand beyond the US for 13 YEARS when it finally launched in Canada in 2010. Focus matters.
The most consistent and counterintuitive reminder I give entrepreneurs:. Amazon only sold books for its first 3-4 years. Facebook was only in colleges for its first 2 years. Apples reboot had only the iPod for 6 years. The path to ruling the world starts with narrow focus.
