Congratulations to #FlyEaglesFly and Saquon for winning the Super Bowl and putting the cherry on top of what has to be the worst #Giants season in the 100 years of the franchise. #SuperBowl

RT @DanGraca: Howie Roseman gave $51 million in free agency to a healthy scratch for the Super Bowl. And it doesn’t matter one bit. That’s…

From everything I've seen Rodgers was an excellent teammate with the Jets. Can't take that away from him--he has players vouching for him for nearly 20 years.
I need better evidence that Rodgers was this lone wolf outlaw who got special treatment and potentially alienated other players 1. He didn’t go to a 2 day mini camp and was fined by the team (not special treatment) 2. He was at every volunteer workout 3. He has vocal support by nearly every player on the team except G5 since the season ended The McAfee Show spot is dumb and the Jets have every right to block him from doing it. So it comes down to missing 2 practices and doing a weekly show where 99% of the time he defended the team and staff? Interesting

Exactly. The Jets are typically“half pregnant” with their direction…rarely decisive. It appears the new regime has a clear indication of what they want & if they let Rodgers go, it doesnt mean they think he can’t play anymore. It means they think they are better off w/o him.
Quick 30 with the gang on a decision that seemed somewhat inevitable for a few weeks now - The decision goes beyond a one year vacuum of on field potential for a 42 year old and I find it positive the #Jets were decisive and handled this directly early in the offseason. It would have been clunky/half-measured to make the volume of changes they have this offseason but to do another epilogue season at QB and WR coming off 5-12

Curious where #Jets go from here at QB. Tyrod & Travis will both be here, you’d assume. Do they go with a cheap vet? Maybe Cousins on the league minimum ala Steelers & Russell Wilson? Do they make a run at Fields? Get aggressive in the draft? Should be an interesting few months.

Here’s the question: Which teams will enter the bidding war?! (Giants, Browns, Raiders, Steelers)
BREAKING: Rodgers flew back to New Jersey last week to meet with the Jets and was told that the team will be releasing him (@JayGlazer). lf Aaron decides to keep playing, he will be free to sign when the new league year opens (March 10-12). He is likely to be designated as a June 1 cut.

For fans of an AFC team who are rooting against the Chiefs, what are the odds the Chiefs get a 4-peat next season? Versus them being more motivated and a tougher out if they lose in this year‘s Super Bowl? Get the 3-peat and be done with them….for a year. #SuperBowlLIX
