I’m anxious to get A DRAGON OF BLACK GLASS into all of your hands. And apparently I’m not the only one with this anxiety. Where can you find me over the next couple months? With the debut of A DRAGON OF BLACK GLASS, I’ll be having a book-launch event @ the Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale on  Feb 17th (7pm)—where the artist who did the maps for the Moonfall series will be joining me to sign copies. As mentioned before, we’ll be celebrating by giving away a pair of postcards featuring colorized versions of the new maps from the latest book. Those who preorder thru the Poisoned Pen will also get the cards and get their books signed by the both of us: I’ll also be speaking and signing @ the Roseville Galleria Barnes & Noble on Feb. 22nd (2pm). I’ll be bringing any extra postcards to that event, too (but they will be limited). Last, but not least, I’ll also be speaking at the Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle on March 9th. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!

I received a wonderful surprise in the mail today. A box full of books! For the first time, I got my hands on copies of A DRAGON OF BLACK GLASS. My publisher Tor did a beautiful job with the cover—and the book comes with  handsome endpapers depicted the cratered face of the moon. I couldn’t be more delighted!

A couple quick updates. In anticipation of the release of A DRAGON OF BLACK GLASS, the ebook of CRADLE OF ICE has been deeply discounted to $2.99 at Amazon, B&N, and most sites. This deal ends in a few days. Also I wanted to share the book trailer for A DRAGON OF BLACK GLASS. In broad strokes, it hints at the chaos and thrills to come in this 3rd book in the Moonfall Saga!

I’ve shared new maps from A DRAGON OF BLACK GLASS (hitting bookshelves on 2/18), but I thought I also give a sneak peek @ one of the many new creatures that appears early in the book. Called a “kezmek”….also known as an “assassin wing.” It plays an important role in this story and reveals a hidden secret about one of Nyx’s friends. #adragonofblackglass

Got a wonderful Christmas surprise. A wonderful local artist (Colleen Rafferty) produced a beautiful watercolor rendition of Sandstorm’s dynamic cover, memorializing the start of the Sigma series. I thought I’d share it with you all...who have made the series such a success.

What’s the holidays without an overabundance of treats? Got this gift box of chocolates, hand-crafted locally, that I wanted to share. Not only are they handsome, they’re stupidly delicious. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I certainly did. And this news made it even better. To celebrate, I thought I’d share the evolution of one of the new maps—where the esteemed cartographer, Soraya Corcoran, rendered my crude scribblings into beautiful art.
