Fowler's description of how Shadow will be portrayed in Sonic 3 is in line with Shadow's SA2 portrayal, so there is nothing to worry about so far, especially since Movie Shadow will likely have character development just like SA2 Shadow. Fowler's team will do Shadow justice!

I think that Roger's work is genius and I'd be dishonest if I said it didn't influence my own. I'll add that Sonic Boom is one of my favorite shows of the past decade due to the stellar work of its voice cast and writers.

SEGA saying Shadow's objective is to protect the planet in Maria's memory has to be their way of apologizing for how they treated Shadow in the 2010s and during the first few years of this decade. I just wish they let him be a G.U.N. agent again.

Anyone who is worried about how Shadow will be depicted in Sonic 3, there is no need to worry, the film will certainly be following the SA2 route and Shadow's portrayal will like how it was in that game, He is in safe hands and SEGA will likely keep their hands to themselves.

Its too bad that "nothing from that game can be referenced" including the concept of Shadow's inhibitor rings, which was actually from Sonic X. Sonic Team needs to revisit that idea without worrying about 06, they should've let Ian use the idea in IDW.

Calling Sonic 2 a rush-job sequel is uncool, Paramount & SEGA took their time to make the movie, they planned it out carefully after the first film and the critics panning Sonic 2 are the same critics who panned the first film despite it being a box office success.

Ok, clarification; The show STARTS in the continuity of the games, using it as a basis, then they dive into the multiverse where the show takes place OUTSIDE the game timeline. Don't think too hard about it. There was never any hard evidence to support that Prime is canon.

Its just your opinion. Boom Amy was still Amy, but she had different character traits and her crush on Sonic was more or less toned down. AND DO NOT SAY IT WAS A DIFFERENT CHARACTER WEARING AMY'S SKIN, that is just spiteful and bashing Boom technically IMHO!

Heck’s sake, there is/was no need for SEGA i.e. Sonic Team’s Takashi Iizuka to apologize for doing the Sonic Boom franchise to appeal to younger fans just b/c SEGA screwed up with ROL. Also, ST did have a say in Boom’s development, THEY SUPERVISED IT!

Last night, we watched 2008’s The Dark Knight with Christian Bale’s Batman fighting The Joker (played by the late Heath Ledger) as he causes anarchy in Gotham. This superhero movie was a fun, chilling, intense and suspenseful ride, nice job, Christopher Nolan. 10/10.

This Disney/Sonic Team interview is seventeen years old, so much has changed since then. There’s nothing in the games to support what SEGA told Disney, they’re lying, Sonic is never gonna tell Amy how he feels. Rabid SonAmy fans need to get over this & stop bringing this up. (1)

As you can see, fans, here are the signs that SEGA will soon drop the Classic-Modern Sonic division. We can see Tails Doll in a Sonic Colors Ultimate poster, Amy referencing Sonic CD and Classic Sonic’s Sonic Racing bio stating that he’s from the past. Impressive, eh?

The way Shadow was characterized in Sonic Boom at the time was fine & it helped distinct him from mainline Shadow, not to mention it was influenced by the memes spawned by Shadow’s 2005 game. But now, this portrayal… falls flat & isn’t the quintessential Shadow portrayal.

Sonic fans are so overly-cautious and distrusting of SEGA with all that apparent disappointment with how Sonic Frontiers is turning out so far. We need to have more faith, let SEGA get it right. They’ve been taking their time with this game for three years, let them work. Ok?

Fun fact: “I’m here for my own reasons”, according to Ian Flynn on a past BUMBLEKAST episode, was a last minute line edit to appease the higher ups at SEGA of Japan as this was when Ian learned what the licensors wanted from Shadow.
