I'm active in both gg fandoms & bg fandoms, I personally have seen toxicity from BOTH ends, I don't think one is more toxic than the other at times. I think it all comes down to the fact that people who get way too deeply invested in kpop forget about reality.

I’ve decided to stop being so worried about joining fandoms and just join them. If there are toxics/trolls, the best thing to do is mute/block. My experience shouldn’t be hindered based on a couple of bad seeds when fandom should be about having fun.
