@petithapa Same. And I also dislike how most of them are parent-led as opposed to the child creating his or her own activity.

@MissN191 I have 3 children ages 5 and under. I involve my children in the activities, we just go at their pace

Babies love butter. My 1 year old will climb onto the kitchen counter and go directly for the butter dish when she sees it.
This works for all ages btw. Send this to anyone you know struggling with #Insomnia or bad sleep in general!

@awakeupgirl No I don’t think so. Children were just involved in the daily family work or played independently. I think play groups are good for socializing more than anything.

@motherpilled Same. I set up little science experiments for them sometimes but beyond that it’s 100% real life activities

“Boys and girls must have time to invent episodes, carry on adventures, live heroic lives, lay sieges and carry forts, even if the fortress be an old armchair; and in these affairs the elders must neither meddle nor make.” Charlotte Mason
I’m now anti sensory activities for kids. They’re all just some attempt to replace real life. I saw a mom whip pink dish soap so it was extra bubbly & then had her kids scoop the soap into cupcake trays to make “valentines cupcakes” Just make cupcakes with them ffs.
