I’m all for growth, but this is a shit apology from Bentancur. There’s no real reflection or accountability here, just minimizing the weight of what was said and saying that no harm was intended. Also needs to apologize to more than just Son.
Dreadful attempt at a joke from Rodrigo Bentancur involving Son during an interview which is doing the rounds. The Uruguayan has apologised on Instagram below. Utterly stupid thing to say in the first place and has upset lots of people. Not what Son needs from his own team-mates.

I would argue that most men need to see this more than training footage. Having positive male role models (like our playing staff) that are comfortable showing love and affection to other men is wonderful and honestly the world needs more of it.
we need men to take over the social media team. we dont need to see this. how about some training videos that are more than 5 mins long, that's a start

You’re right that it isn’t a major issue. His short passing is good and his shot stopping is elite. I do think his long distribution and command of his area leaves something to be desired personally.

He just doesn’t do it the same way he used to imo. It used to be more of a sharp cut, but I don’t think he has that explosiveness anymore. Now we see more of this, get the defender on their back foot, then create the half a yard he needs. Still has the elite finishing.

Yes and he does this even with Bissouma in the team. To me the main issue seems to be there aren’t enough off the ball runs happening when he gets it. Most of the runs that do happen are players presenting for the ball, rather than into space.
