My mom and dad had dementia at the same time. My mom was more whiny and literally starved to death. My dad (Lewy body dementia) would get bad sundowners .. mean and combative most days and then nice next day. Extremely hard and exhausting on caregivers. So sad

I lost both parents to dementia within 8 months of each other. They had it at the same time. I did a lot of research on dementia and Alzheimer’s then and alcohol induced dementia is more common than you know. Didn’t apply to my parents though.

I worked at CYS and you can discipline your kids as long as there are NO BRUISES OR BLEEDING then it crosses to abuse. If he left handprints on the boy from smacking then it should be addressed.
