‘The club is disappointed…?’ May I inform ‘the club’ that the supporters 100% blame the owners for a decade and a half of appalling mismanagement. Eustace has been an excellent coach, and just like several before him, the club failed to back him. This disaster is totally on you.

❌ JOHN EUSTACE LEAVES ❌ so the worst kept secret in football (for Rovers fans at least) has now been confirmed and after one year, John Eustace has left the club to join Derby County. I’m sure all Rovers fans would wish John well — firstly for working with the players to maintain our Championship status on the final day of the season at Leicester. Those of us there will never forget the feeling when Sammie Szmodics tucked the ball away to seal that amazing 2-0 win at Champions, Leicester City. Secondly, for providing a solid platform this season for the club to kick on, but ultimately failed by the board and management in the January transfer market with ‘sticking plaster’ incomings — hardly a sign of ambition from a club who has banked so much transfer income recently AND sitting in a play-off position. So we wish you well John and thank you for your time at Blackburn Rovers 👋🏼 #rovers ⚽️⚪️🔵🌹 #blackburnrovers

Owen Beck hit the bar shortly after for Rovers, but QPR will feel they should be 2 or 3 up at the break.
