Just the leader of the opposition there, participating in a far-right moral panic based on something that's incredibly obviously not true

Under-discussed imo re two-child benefit cap: this is the issue that allowed Corbyn to win the 2015 leadership election. For the people now running Labour, that was a historic injustice for which they still want revenge. Hungry kids are insignificant collateral damage

One of those things you think must be a joke, but isn't: until last year she was a "corporate affairs advisor" for Yorkshire Water

Congratulations @JadeBotterill , Labour’s brilliant local candidate for Ossett and Denby Dale. We deserve a strong voice for our area who’s on our side. That’s exactly what Jade will deliver as our MP.

This comment, left under a Guardian piece naming It’s a Sin as the best TV show of the year, has absolutely broken me.

. @Jeremy_Hunt : “When I went to Auschwitz I rather complacently said to myself, ‘thank goodness we don’t have to worry about that kind of thing in the UK’ and now I find myself faced with the leader of @UKLabour who has opened the door to antisemitism”

@johnestevens This line of questioning is so idiotic it hurts. How much of a lickspittle do you have to be to repeat an obvious non-story just because Dominic Raab told you to? Embarrassing

Just in case you believed today's pisspoor Corbyn smear in The Sun: The Times ran, then corrected same story in 1987 http://t.co/bOwbRH8fn8

This is what an awful lot of people's politics boil down to: I was going to support the right side on this massive issue... but then someone was rude to me

Yeah it's worth noting this. Labour now pretty much completely run by people who lost control fair and square, spent four years falsely accusing others of being anti-democratic entryists, then were brought back by a leader whose election pledges have all now been junked

Really quite wild that the Labour party has been fully re-captured by a fringe element which nobody voted for. What a joke.

You see this a lot but it's still bizarre: the interviewer starts off knowing that nobody was laughing at Starmer's dad for working in a factory, but by the end he's just meekly accepted that that was what happened. He even volunteers that it was because the audience were snobs

Thin-skinned Starmer again evoking the memory of his late father to chastise the audience laughing at him for his millionth mention of his dad's occupation. 'He would have turned in his grave'
