🧵(5/5) To sum up: Thank you for every vote cast on our AIP. We still have 4 days to go through the resubmission process. If there’s enough community interest in putting this proposal up for a vote again, let me know. As we said on X Spaces, regardless of the result, we’ll keep supporting the ape community. Regardless of Yuga or certain whales in the ecosystem, there are still many apes who enjoy what we do and we are truly grateful for that. We’ll keep supporting them & providing entertainment—especially with our upcoming platform and videos. This is our first time in the middle of such an unpleasant web3 conflict, where one party is aggressively trying to take us down. Life isn’t PvP; building for the community isn’t a zero-sum game. By supporting Ape Ecosystem and AbstractChain, nobody has to lose; in fact, everyone can gain. This situation reveals how some in web3 enjoy staying in their own small pond, feeling like a big fish there. But the audience for entertainment is much bigger beyond that. We believe there’s enough room for everyone, and to really sail out into open waters, it’s better to collaborate on certain ventures. We take it as a compliment that Dashbo sees us as such a strong rival. We’re rooting for them, but our interests lie elsewhere. We focus on storytelling rather than a particular form of expression. It would’ve been nice if Yuga had supported our initiative. That said, no hard feelings on our side. It’s just funny how Yuga and Dashbo pulled out the big guns against this tiny $5k proposal. This thread is about openly sharing our perspective so the community, especially those who voted in favor of the proposal, stays informed on the entire process, including how we saw it. This thread isn’t about creating drama. We’re still rooting for you. We’ll keep supporting the Apes and we hope you enjoy what we’re building.
