We’re not asking for it to be free but it sounds like this guy wants to price gouge his users the second this thing gains any traction and it won’t work at scale. If he is looking to gain large scale adoption it needs to be affordable for the average person. When deciding whether or not you’re going to put food on the table or having a little extra computing power you’re picking the food 10 times out of 10. $1,000 a month will never work unless his target market is large corporations with deep pockets. In that case he can develop his model and charge much more than $1,000 but it won’t gain large scale adoption
