Spencer’s collar…I removed it at 4:11 this afternoon, and at 4:12 his attending vet administered him peace. I’ve been told it’s ok to put it down…so far I have not been able…RIP my little firecracker, my sweet boy. You burst in with a bomb…I’m letting you go with a whisper ❤️

An update on the bears:they took a nap up behind the house. Wildlife had the road closed and kept an unobtrusive eye on them from a safe distance. After a few 💤 they got up and slowly meandered to the shore and hitched a ride out of town on the ice. A happy ending with respect.

My little boy has not been well and has been suffering more seizures over the past 24 hours. Tonight his left eye has closed and only opened with a lot of stimulation…if you pray, say an extra word for him. Appreciate all good faith…he’s such a good boy.

Just saw this going down my street. ..tooting horn, not stopping anywhere along the way...driving the speed limit.
No parade, no impediment to traffic, no public gathering, no people outside on the sidewalk.

FB memory when tiny Spencer moved to his forever home from the SPCA. Hunter was grieving the loss of Charlie, and this little guy brought the sparkle back to her eyes. The bond was immediate.

Just back from grocery store. Didn’t need a lot so I spent some time “people watching”. It hurt my heart to see senior citizens pick up a tray of meat, ponder for a moment and then put it back in the cooler because of the cost. 😢

Not too bad for today. 2 dz rolls (x-large) and 5 loaves. Although they’re all light as a cork and the smell is great, the shape is a bit off. Might be due to the humidity...very muggy here today, and windows and doors all wide open. Not sure, but that may have affected them.

I’ve read that when a pup exposes his/her gut to you, especially when sleeping, it’s a sign of their complete trust in you and their current environment. I think she feels pretty much at home.

My Aunt, Dad’s brother’s wife has not been well. A few days ago she was admitted to palliative care and I have carried that. Although they have family nobody has been able to come home. This morning when I woke I thought my parents would be pleased if I did what I could for them.
