Can we stop calling it a war? A war is when TWO armies are fighting. The word war makes it sound like the sides are at least somewhat evenly matched. Almost all of one sides casualties are people who didn't sign up to fight. This is just a massacre.

We aren't losing because of Carr's 2 or 3 bad plays. Adams straight up dropped two huge passes. The defense makes any team look like pro bowlers. The O line might as well not even be there and the coaching is unbelievably bad.

If they are going to baby these QBs then plays like that can't be allowed. That should have been blown dead long before he could pass it. Once a defender has his hands on the QB, the play should be over if they are not allowed to tackle/hit them.

He could actually win with Carr though. Granted, Carr is a really good QB but if McDaniels is so good, this game shouldn't have been such an embarrassment. Though they did send a message to the team they were giving up on the season when they benched Carr.

Nice. Downgrade at QB to save money just to go sign average to below average defensive players. "Played all 17 games" is now the benchmark for guys we are targeting. No one who is actually going to make a difference just guys that are good enough to make a roster.

If you look at everything besides being a running threat Carr is absolutely better. Hard to compare them though when Lamar is one of the best runners in the league. If the game is on the line and you need to pass from the pocket I'd take Carr any day.

Most importantly, this team is FUN to watch again.
Also, I'm not so sure AOC isn't our QB of the future. He needs some work, but he looks like a starter. If a guy like Pennix falls to us, do we take him? Sure, but I wouldn't trade the world to move up at this point.
