This context raises questions about the claim that approval was secured solely through a “congressional vote.” Voting “no” without all the necessary information might have jeopardized a potentially beneficial program, risking not only the program’s future but also the reelection prospects of the members involved. In such a scenario, voting “yes” might have been seen as the only viable option, ensuring that Congress could continue to function and address other pressing matters. I believe it’s important to recognize that informed decision-making is crucial for effective governance, and this situation highlights the need for complete transparency before making consequential votes. Perhaps your position is influenced by your ideology. I’m certain most people struggle with that at times. However, I hope this clarification as to why I consider USAID to have committed fraud clarifies why I reject your dismissal of the argument. Your position of “public” and “voted” doesn’t actually disprove fraud. One last thing to consider. A letter signed by a DA which promises there will be no charges filed against a hostage taker, if he/she releases the hostages unharmed is non-binding in court. If we believe Jesus is God manifested in the human form and assumes the name of Jesus, then the conclusion to be drawn is that Jesus is God. God! The same God who created the universe, the same God that took the life of each family who refused to comply with his instruction for the Passover, the same God who means what he says, be it said, as it is often is, with the consequence of harsh discipline if his instruction is ignored but filled with joy and complete fulfillment and satisfaction when it is followed to perfection. The question isn’t whether he gets us, he does, he absolutely does. The real question however is, Do we get him? GOD? Do we get GOD? What it meant to take upon himself the sins of everyone. He death was horrible, it was painful and disgraceful but above that the real pain, the real suffering, the real humiliation and agony came from him bearing all of that sin, none of which was his. But God in his grace and mercy took them and their pain and humiliation, their disgrace and respectability, ALL OF IT! So we don’t have continue in it. Just ask him to take it all away. Ask him to give you a new and clean life. One of a servant. A servant of Christ each day made clean again through the mighty and final sacrifice and now our priest who brings us in to the Holy of Holies. And he intercedes for us and pleas for us that our sins are no more because we have sought the mercy of his own blood to cover those sins. What a fulfilling gift he gives us daily as we need it.
