@Fire5280 As long as you only watch the nightly new conferences you’ll only know the important parts we need to pay attention to 😉

Very creative prose and extrapolation on what could happen if an ill meaning/power hungry liberal leaning folks were seeking a way to manipulate public opinion. Definitely happens on both sides What is a bit confusing is you seem to be conflating a fictional representation with the reality of a real situation Or are you saying the Charlottesville event was a fictional event created vs incited by white nationalists? Seems to be sowing doubt that it happened?

@vrexec Nice comparison! Sounds like you are planning to stay there long term with schooling being a key driver?

Read a book on the history of Egypt (as I’m visiting soon) and surprised by the number of references to Crete, Palestine, and Lapis lazuli (Afghanistan) as part of most common trading partners. Makes geographical sense but nonetheless fascinating. Also, the normalized history of sibling marriage

No surprise here we just need honesty from all involved. Tariffs can certainly bring back jobs and protect industries AND the trade off is going to be higher prices. Sure many are ok with that trade off and many are not.

@jevgenijs Long story short I’m very skeptical. See the international clover story as very legit though.

Thankful for 🇺🇸 gov $ cleanup efforts. What got us here won’t get us there. *some of these USaid cuts are clearly short sighted/unessisarily onerous on the most vulnerable Not into treating people/orgs w/o respect and dignity if reorganization decisions have been made. We can and should be able to achieve both outcomes. Challenge when two of the most powerful people driving things lack much/if any human empathy. *this is part of their superpower but is major weakness when in charge of society level orgs IMHO No surprises for anyone paying attention to past performance.

@fortworthchris Lying that the planet is warming or exaggerating/confusing if humans are main contributors to increased warming?

Think you are in way too deep with the x influencers beef (some justified) Bet large majority of people using sba7 over last 5 years aren’t on x nor buy courses. Kinda funny snark but would suggest you are mostly just helping exaggerate noise (which isn’t helpful if there is actually going to be some series conversation on reforming/updatinf) Hope to get some positive takes from you on acquisition one day!

@isaacfrench_ All these posts got me to use an audible credit but also curious what the ask is/was? Just get book for free and post about it as a friend or was there some other $ incentive? @isaacfrench_ @SahilBloom Really impressive influencer campaign overall!

Makes logical sense but this is way too complex of thinking for this president. What you describe doesn’t seem so much as the intended outcome but rather what will happen. I don’t think the entirety of 2nd and 3rd order implications are well understood by Trump (what the loss of dollar as reserve currency will really mean for country/citizens) but rather some much simpler belief that US is getting raw deal and tariffs bringing in more money = stronger US. As other user specifically linked his quote on desiring to not replace US currency

Love the insight on medium term impacts! Voting against self interest is a curious choice for sure. If you are in the net receiver states you gotta hope that more onshoring happens quickly and new jobs/higher wages offset lost rev at ind/state level But overall it’s just a more complex/ (albeit simple for some) explanation when > more tariffs and less taxes is easy message to convey Same thing with national security/importance of peace dividend > longer explanation than simple message > ‘let’s not spend our money protecting others’ We have a president who is incredibly talented at identifying problems and labeling them. Less so at articulating long term viable solutions

💯It’s clear you have thought extensively about this topic and hope these folks stop to consider. Bay Area is awesome in that there are so many big ambitions and most aren’t living on there on terms but in service to a corporate ‘mission’ Hope you do more talks b/c I wish I was exposed this thinking 15 years ago

@balajis Definitely spot on in both what the US electorate wants and where we are headed. Question is how long it will take to come to full fruition or if some black swan will alter the current course
