🚨Ben White has undergone a minor operation to resolve an issue he’s been dealing with for the past 18 months. The Arsenal defender has been playing through the pain during this time, however the club are hopeful the issue will be resolved following the recent operation. Arsenal are expecting Riccardo Calafiori and Takehiro Tomiyasu back after the international break which is why the club decided now is the right time for Ben White to have the operation. Ben White is expected to be unavailable for around six weeks.

Arteta on Tomiyasu: "t doesn’t look like hopefully a long period, but we have to see when he comes back how he reacts to the load and to the impact on the pitch. We really need him. He’s been incredible, the amount of hours that he’s put in to get back. He did it, was in great shape and now he’s got something else again. But we are all behind him. He needs our support and hopefully he will be fine.”
