So many people saying he’s the nicest bloke but we know I love to provide receipts. I got this message from @DanePineau within seconds of the Kings winning the championship. There is no one who can say a bad word about him. And if they do, then they must be confused.

@WildcatsMark @TitleCatsx10 Also not technically true. RAC Arena is part of the ASM Global network. Frontier is national client across more venues than just RAC. Fact is the league needs better processes to hold venues for finals. Can’t expect venues to not take bookings without assurances.

@SuperCoachPleb Finals including fixturing are controlled by the league not the clubs. So this is entirely a league management issue. The league doesn’t put holds on potential finals dates and this is the risk they take every year.

@damiendc_ @DamianArsenis 100% if it’s a four person panel but it’s only three so the distribution makes sense. I assume they wanted an odd number. On culture, the boomers is definitely player lead but it’s imperative you have a coach that embraces that and makes space for it, or it will die.

@damiendc_ @DamianArsenis Maybe for a league team but national teams are different. All the candidates are basketball qualified and they aren’t developing talent week-to-week. You want a coach that is going to get the best out of the players. Culture and coaching strategy is key to that.

I have lived in NSW, VIC, WA and I can safely say WA was the absolute worse. People would say things about the Aborigines wuth absolute no F shame it made my eyes roll back in my head. It’s really the Mississippi of Australia.
