It's true that MIT is indeed...very nerdy. MIT admissions are announced March 14 and alumni reunion is 3.14 years after graduation. To celebrate, @sherwinwu (MIT 2014), @sophia_luo_ (MIT 2020), and I (MIT 2023) are excited to host this year's MIT Pi Day reunion. All alumni, researchers and MIT affiliates are invited to join. Economic impact of AI is still mostly constrained to the math and computational industries with medium-high (but not super-high) income jobs utilizing it the most. Not a surprising result but will be interesting to see how this changes across industries and segments of the population over the next 10 years
