I wish mine went better 🙁 learned I didn’t react to local anesthesia AFTER being induced. I couldn’t even be awake for my c section. Was screaming for hours before they determined we had to have one. Matt handled everything amazing and was so calm through it all 💕
If someone tells you they had a traumatic birth experience, do not tell them “All that matters is that baby is here healthy now!” That’s not ALL that matters. Having a traumatic birth is a valid, sometimes deeply scarring experience. Maternal health matters, too.
