if anyone was losing their faith in humanity today: i just watched a man experiencing homelessness collapse on the street and at by least five cars stopped to run and help, street folks stopped to help, they worked together to do chest compressions for at least 10 minutes….

yesterday i attended a hearing on a motion for new trial for a man who is innocent, who has been incarcerated for 13 years. it was the first case i looked at when i started at the Ohio Innocence Project in summer of 2021. i worked the case through my year at OIP… 2/.

these police murders happen like 3x a day, but they’re not the most common tactic. more common are the racist stops, the rough arrests, the lies, the imprisonment. so many people are locked up off of police lies. there is more than one way to rob someone of their life.

my (vaxxed) grandfather has covid because the staff in his *nursing home* refused to get vaccinated. he’s bedridden and we’re not wealthy, we didn’t have any other options. he was a sitting duck for this shit because his nurses wouldn’t get vaxxed. i’ve never been so angry.
