In one instance I wanted to purchase property for the business that was an old gas station. To be able to purchase the property I had to finance doing an epa survey and having the tanks removed and backfilled which was going to cost 300,000-500,000 plus the purchase of the property. Because of this the property was a non start. I looked into options and was unable to pull anything together. A Indian immigrant owns it now and got the government via state and federal grants to pay for the cleanup and give him 20% down payment to purchase the property and turn it into a liquor store. And every 2 years they sell it to a new family member on some visa loophole so they keep as much money and send it back to their home. So we paid for them to be here, disenfranchised businesses to promote them, and give them tax incentives to keep abusing the system. Something has to change
