Thanks to all the @AontroimGAA supporters that traveled to Mayo and did a 300+ mile round trip at the weekend to cheer on the senior hurlers. 19 people from Casement Social Club left on Saturday and stayed overnight to be in Ballina for Sunday 👏.

One of the honours of this historic day was to lay a wreath on Hill 16 in memory of those murdered by British Armed Forces. Míle buíochas to Jim Clinton for organising and delivering the wreath.

The results are in. What a fantastic weekend for the whole community who went far beyond their target of going to Tipperary and back in support our local mental health charity @SolasToome. We did 3,400km and donated £9,000+ and it's still going 😮 🟢 ⚪️ @Doiregaa @derrypost

Here’s a interesting thread on artificial and natural grass playing surfaces. It makes you wonder are the number of GAA pitches with artificial goal mouths and sidelines safe or not for players.
Recent injury for a player stepping onto Artificial grass from a natural grass (hybrid reinforced) playing surface. The mechanical properties of each surface are most likely different (traction and hardness etc). This player had to come off with an ankle injury.
