Well done to our 1st year girls team today who beat Pobail Scoil Rathmore. Our 2nd year girls had a great come back in the 2nd half to draw the game but unfortunately lost out by single point, such an exciting finish! Well done to all the girls today!

1st & 2nd year girl's basketball teams have had a busy few days in the school league, first up they played Presentation Tralee where our 1st year's won and the second year's just lost out. Our teams were out against Coláiste na Sceilge today where both teams won. Well done girls!

Our students have been working hard and have finalised their designs for the Junk Kouture competition this year. Here are the first three of the designs: Gothic Revival by Keira and Lucia, Futuristic Shadows by Michael and Michal, and Victorian Vogue by Ellen and Megan.

Another great morning ^ afternoon of ski lessons on the slopes today. Lots of great skiing skills and spills on show. The evening was topped off with a trip to the bowling alley where there wasn't a pin left standing. Last morning on the slopes tomorrow before the journey home.

Our Transition year students had an action-packed day today in Andorra, hitting the slopes before and after lunch followed by some ice skating in the evening. Everyone having a ball!

Our 5th year Home Economics students made beautiful lemon meringue pie today as part of their food studies assignment where they investigated the properties of eggs. Good job guys!

Well done to our 2nd Year hockey team who faced Ashton School yesterday in a game played in Cork. The team were all decked out in their new uniforms that were kindly sponsored by PK’s SuperValu in Killorglin. Thank you again to PK’s for your continued support of sport at ISK!

Our TYs had very enjoyable workshops with Red King Chess this week. It was interesting to see the number of students that felt they wouldn't enjoy beforehand and ended up really getting into it. Well done to all!

Congratulations to our Boys Under-15 Football team, who defeated St. Flannans, Ennis on a score of 2-15 to 1-7 in the Munster Quarter Final. Well done on a great win!

Well done to the first year girls team, on their win over neighbours Pres Milltown today in the Kerry LGFA schools league. It was their first competitive game in the school colours and they gave a great account of themselves. There was some lovely football on display throughout
