@MilaLovesJoe Yes, I hold the door for everyone regardless of anything. But ‘irregardless’ of that if you use that word near me, I will be closing the door very slowly so you have time to reflect on your choice of words

@dmarieeex @cambeserious I mean, it’s not like they found a cure for cancer or something, right? Of course, you’d cry for something you’ve dreamed of your whole life, but not like 24/7. You appreciate your success and move on..

@hiddenreplies12 @Polyommatus5 @KmaFr_ Yeah, I know. With BPD, there’s constant emotional instability and impulsivity. All I can say is stay strong and try to be aware of your episodes - unlike bipolar episodes, you have the ability to recognize and manage them, which will give you clarity and rationality.

True, but bipolar disorder makes you lose your filters. In Kanye’s case, he’s angry at an Adidas executive who happens to be Jewish and his manic episode amplifies that anger, manifesting as racism. Right now, he’s like a runaway train and probably doesn’t even fully realize what he’s doing. But here’s the thing, there will still be consequences for his actions because he allowed this to happen by refusing to take his meds. That makes him responsible. By doing so, he’s not only hurting himself and his family but also an entire community given his massive influence as a celebrity.

@hiddenreplies12 @Polyommatus5 @KmaFr_ And with bipolar disorder, you’re generally stable between episodes. So once his episode is over, Kanye will probably be like, “What have I done?!”

@hiddenreplies12 @Polyommatus5 @KmaFr_ Mood changes in BPD are short-lived, lasting hours to a day, whereas bipolar episodes (mania or depression) can persist for days or even weeks. This makes it easier for someone with BPD to remain rational compared to a person experiencing a manic episode.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with BPD. I remember my friend going to a store to buy a jumper and ending up with nine different colors of the same one because it seemed like a great idea at the time. Later, we found out her doctor had prescribed a different med that triggered a severe manic episode. Now she’s doing fine. I mean, you can’t be mad at a bipolar person - just like you wouldn’t get angry at someone with diabetes - as long as they’re willing to get better. But in Kanye’s case, as far as I know, he refused to take his meds because he felt they stifled his creativity. And here we are today.
