While I used to say “I can’t wait to not have to carry cash anymore”, I now know that there are MANY people who are not only unbanked, but also who can’t afford to pay APRs on credit cards. Leaving cash behind is leaving them behind, until there is a better solution.
I hate when businesses do this. We’re not ready to go fully cashless yet. So many people are unbanked and I know people who use cash to keep themselves on budget.
