Didn't expect it to happen but I'm beyond pleased to have acquired a ticket at face value for tomorrow's match. Someone called me a genuine fan. I will be very vocal. I will however have to leave before the end as I have a game to referee. Good luck to the Blues.

Maurice Scrivener was a friend and a fellow referee. Was always good to be out with him on a Saturday. The chats, words of encouragement, advice offered and taken too. Will be missed. Condolences to family and friends across the football community.

Is changing room banter at an end? I can think of plenty things that I've been called that I'd considered banter. Are we fast becoming a snowflake nation? I was never offended, laughed and gave a few comments back. We would go out,play the game and resume the banter afterwards.

And to think I got slaughtered for my comments only a week ago. Quite a few have gone totally overboard, proving me right. We lost one football match. We've come so far in 18 months. We're back in the Championship. Playing far better teams. We will lose games. Accept and move on.

Fair to say, Mckenna's honeymoon period may just about be over. We'll see what happens when the fans turn on him like previous managers. This is the first spell where results haven't gone for him. This is where we find out if his balls have dropped or not. Good luck boss.

I find it absolutely amazing that we haven't won a Saturday 3pm kick off since the 8th October. And we're still 3rd. We have to start winning very soon. I still believe in McKenna and his style of football. But wish we'd kick a few more people when the going gets tough.

McKenna is still in his infancy in management terms. He's done a fantastic job getting us in a really challenging position. But we need to learn how to do a proper shithousing job in the final minutes. Ball out of ground, player injuries, proper substitutions to kill game.
