@maffeodrinks I’m not sure whether you could use the word corn in the main descriptor but it would technically and legally be a whiskey made in Ireland if it was made from a mash of fermented grains and aged in wooden barrels.

@1bfitz There are definite some whiskey deserts in the U.S. where anything outside of Jameson is tough to find but Midleton Very Rare tends to be drank in the U.S. and collected in Ireland.

Tasted @micildistillery’s inaugural release today and was extremely impressed. The quarter cask aging has resulted in a complex, nuanced & very flavorful whiskey. Splitting the remainder of the bottle up for @storiesandsips club members tonight. sláinte.
