@goodreads Standalone generally. Too many series seem to be simply drawing /dragging out an otherwise succinct story. There are some good series though.

Apparently @sportsshoes_com customer service believe that @Nike ZoomX Running Shoes should only last 28.6km before this kind of wear. Are the shoes engineered in this manner or are @SportsShoes just offering poor service responsibilities Consumer Rights Act (2015)?

@goodreads Impossible question. Earthsea, Middle Earth, Arrakis (Dune…more universe building). Fantasy and sci-fi have many examples. Mick Herron’s Slough House also works well but is more a distorted view of our own.
