Here is a hack that has always worked for me when it comes to friendships.
Befriend your friend’s friends. Value exist in circles so there is a very high chance that if you friend reflects your value system, their friends do. Fish where there is fish.

Waiting with them to see the dentist, riding shotgun to work, getting haircuts together, these things are deeply satisfying because they amplify the beauty of everyday things.
