The Quebec Capitales are Frontier League champions!
They do so in two consecutive years.
This was last accomplished in 2013-14 by the Schaumburg Boomers.
They now have nine championships in their franchise's history.
This is the most across all of Independent League Baseball

The Frontier League announced today that its Board of Directors has issued membership for a new team that will play at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, Massachusetts beginning with the upcoming 2024 season.

Source: Baseball will return to Stade Canac (home of

) on July 30. Capacity limit is currently projected to be near 2800. Tickets will go on sale when the Quebec/Canadian gov gives the final green light. Baseball is back in Quebec.

We talked a lot about Sussex turning it all around but Lake Country had just as impressive of a turnaround. They didn't quite get the job done but considering how they started the year vs how they ended, it was a remarkable comeback. Certainly a team to watch going into 2024.

Still a fantastic year in Evansville. They won a pennant and will have something new flying at Bosse next season. The handle 2 truly great teams and pushed a 3rd to its breaking point before running out of gas. Lots to be proud of from a team many, including myself, doubted.
Not the way we wanted it to end, but certainly a playoff run we'll never forget. Thank you for your support all year long, Evansville! 💙

- Good for the city to have/keep baseball again
- Good for the PBL to get into an unconventional and 'big' market for them
- Concerned about longevity, ie will people keep up support in 3-5 years
