I don’t think Kyle Okposo gets enough love. He’s been a leader on and off the ice, puts in 100% effort every shift and is genuinely a very good bottom 6 player. It’s never his fault that he got top 6 usage due to the team’s injuries and he tried his best too.

Moritz Seider, signed 7x$8.6M by DET, is a young defenceman who the Red Wings gave pretty brutal deployment to last season. Even accounting for that, his numbers aren't very inspiring, but the team clearly sees him as the defensive cornerstone of their blueline moving forward.
