I re-wrote the grading system for my 6 year old. 😊
The current one does nothing but shame and guilt children, and fosters an unlearning of creative problem solving and course correcting mistakes.

1) Refine my time design

3) Raise our kid.
4) Not work weekends
5) Go to sleep + wake up earlier & prioritize my health
6) Plan out dates
7) Enjoy less frequent but more quality time with friends
What a privilege.

Ok. Who the hell died and made y'all Kings? Where do we draw the line exactly? What's the difference (in the way the org measures) between shared attention of a side hustle, and shared attention with spouse/kids? How do you tell one employee one is okay, but not the other?
Shopify, $SHOP, CEO Tobi Lütke discourages employees from having side hustles, saying Shopify requires 'unshared attention,' per BI.
