Not against wanting to not mention your wife's name Infront of non mehram, but making it sound like a rule 'one shouldn't ' is something that is leaning towards extremism. May Allah guide us.
One should not mention their wife's name in the presence of her non mehram and strangers.

One should watch this video about 'Shaykh' Yasir Qadhi.
Went to Shaykh Yasir Qadhi’s talk today on dua and why’d some (acc many) wobblers ask if it’s okay/think it’s a bidah to raise their hands in dua after salah. What’s going on with these people, didn’t even know this was a new bidah they’d created 😭
