Nathan Chen, who also won a gold medal in Beijing in the men’s singles event, joked that it was the warmest medal ceremony he had ever attended.
“The other ones were always freezing, we’d have hand warmers in our pockets,” Chen said, laughing. “Here we’re, like, sweating.”
The group also decided that if not all of them—Bates, Chock, Karen Chen, Nathan Chen, Zachary Donohue, Brandon Frazier, Madison Hubbell, Alexa Knierim, and Vincent Zhou—could make the medal ceremony, they would not come to Paris.

"I'm so proud of all the things he's accomplished. I know he knows what's best for him and excited to see where he takes himself -- whether it's inside the sport or outside the sport.

If Nathan Chen gets team gold medal back, he will be the first double Olympic champion in single skating. No single skaters have won gold medals in both team and individual events at !!one olympic game!! yet. (ice dance:V/M 2018, pair:T/M 2014)
Hungary's short track coach (He is Korean!) posted a photo with Nathan! He said Nathan was very humble and kind. He met Nathan three times, Nathan always said "thank you" and took pictures with him.🤍
