I know a lot of people don’t pay attention to Alaska. Heck, I saw 10+ posts of “these states are still counting” only 1 mentioned Alaska was. We have had an embarrassing run this election. We are 14 days past Election Day and we are still counting. Less than 400,000 people voted! Our Division of Elections went MIA for the 5 days following the 5th. On the 11th they started counting again. We are now getting vague daily updates as to “how many” “ballots” are left. The 15th of November is the cut off for an instate resident to have gotten their absentee ballot back to DoE. What that means is, you would have had to put your absentee ballot in the mail BY Election Day and DoE needed to receive it by the 15th. On the morning of the 16th DoE said there were 14,500 ballots remaining. Since then they have counted AT LEAST 16,131 ballots. They have posted number on their X page. Today they said they still have 5,800 ballots remaining. That’s AFTER the 16,131. So after they said we have 14,500 they are still counting over 6,000 more ballots. I get that doesn’t sound like a lot, but when less than 400,000 people voted, it makes a HUGE difference. We have a massive ballot measure up here to remove ranked choice voting. These extra votes swung it back to stay. After it was in process of being repealed for 13 DAYS. There have been no explanations as to where these ballots keep coming from. They have continually said we are 100% reported and did not take into account the absentees that were requested. This also comes after the fact Alaska could’ve been the DECIDING state for President Trumps victory when he hit 267 Electoral Votes. But NO Alaska didn’t get called till over 48 hours LATER because of our failure to count votes. If you’ve made it this far in my rant. Thank you. Please help by sharing this message.
