Biden in February: 'If you harm an American, we will respond.' Biden leaving office doing nothing about Americans killed by Israel, including Aysenur Ezgi Eygi. It’s been 132 days since she was killed, and the U.S. has done nothing beyond asking Israel to investigate itself, which has yielded no accountability. Yesterday, I asked State Dept spox one last follow-up on Aysenur’s case, his response: "I would certainly expect (the incoming team) to treat Aysenur Eygi's family with the same duty of care that we have brought to the situation".
