It was actually produced by an independent educational media company called Child's Eye Media (though perhaps it appeared on the BBC in some guise?) That was when I was 5 years old, I have very fond memories of it. Hope you enjoyed it too!

@CineramaSave Sure, I just think that that reflects a deeper problem within culture that things are so capitalist and commercialised that more artistically daring films can't get seen or even funded unless they might win an award

@OMENEDIT I'm glad more people will see it now. I also think that if we had less hypercapitalist film industry where funding was more widely distributed, and if we had more funding for independent cinemas, that would be better than celebrating the Oscars when they occasionally get it right
