Hey everyone! If you like my comics, commissions, and movie work, I've started a Patreon where I'll be posting process stuff, writing on craft, and exclusive work
Thanks so much for your support!
(including your RTs!)
Important thing I didn't think about from this thread: while water works at absorbing smoke particles, that means you should be changing your pet water often!
Next year, P Craig Russell will have been a professional cartoonist for 50 years
His work has been a huge inspiration to me since high school, from his singular layouts, his delicate & joyous line art, to being one of the first out mainstream comics artists

I'm bi, something I've been soft open about, but something I used to be hesitant to mention much online due to feeling like it wasn't enough to claim LGBT pride over. Even tho it's right there in the 3rd letter.
So here I am, claiming it. Because it's important. Happy Pride.
Hiya, I draw comics and illustrate/design box art for bluray releases(usually 70s Japanese crime films), and sometimes nsfw werewolves

Moore has a never-ending love of "juvenile rubbish", he just wants people to stop calling things what they aren't. I can't agree more about the use of graphic novel, retire it forever
When you read the incredibly off Alan Moore takes on here, you realise why he chose to focus on and write big boy books instead of wasting anymore of his time on kids’ books for men in denial… 😐🤦🏻♀️
Seeing Rothko's paintings in person was a lightning bolt of realization for me, that all art is made with a method of experience in mind. His work is belligerent about being seen in person, to be physically overwhelmed by it. It refuses to work otherwise, and that's beautiful
Screw dunking on it, what are your FAVORITE plot cliches? Like no matter how many times it's been done, no matter how many miles away you can spot it, you will always get hype when it's executed well?
The thing about Jack Kirby criticism is you get to just stand there, completely unshook, knowing they'll either see the light or live on with a piece missing inside them, in their own time. Nothing's changed about that for 60 years
