not that my own little personal site means anything in the grand scheme of things, but after using @WordPress religiously for almost 20 years, i have migrated over to @Ghost pro while i admire wordpress as a technology, the way @photomatt handled the @wpengine situation left a sour taste. watching a company so deeply embedded in the open web mistreat its own ecosystem was enough for me to walk away. i refuse to support a platform not respecting the people and businesses that helped build it into what it is today it has been an incredible run, but it is time for a platform that is faster, leaner, and built for the modern web. @Ghost offers exactly what i need: a streamlined, blazing fast tool with arguably the best online writing experience available so long, wordpress. thanks for the incredible memories

@RhysSullivan What good resources have you found for learning Effect? I’m interested but seeing this code makes me want to keep putting it off lol

@devongovett Not that I’ve found. I’ve tried all the popular config templates and I always turn off more rules than I end up using. What you just described is probably perfect although the tailwind one is pretty good too (if you’re using that)

I still use eslint but the general vibe has gone significantly negative in the last couple years. A lot of people are switching to biome or not using it at all. I’m basically running a super minimal eslint config that has the react compiler and letting my TS linter do the rest. In my opinion it’s not worth trying to find a generic config, just add as few specific rules/plugins as you absolutely need and roll with that Again that’s just my opinion (as someone that’s been using eslint for a long time)
