With the re-signing of Kiermaier…I’m sorry are the Jays actually going to run the 2023 roster back with lesser players in the Chapman, Belt and Hicks roles? Thats the solution to consecutive playoff busts in the middle of a window of contention? Brutal. Say it ain’t so.
Tough to admit as a life long Jays fan through up & down eras - but missing out on both Soto & Ohtani (price tags notwithstanding) after the last 2 seasons and Vlad’s plateauing is making it much harder to get excited for 2024 than I expected. What a dumb feeling.

@mitchellpollock Really like Varsho but the whole offseason feels like plan B’s and C’s. And they’re compounding. Missing on Nimmo and the collapse of the catching trade market means we over pay for the alternative and don’t get full value for the Moreno asset IMO
