Well… the gaming industry was competitive before the wave of ‘let’s make the next axie and become a crypto billionaire’ bros decided to make a game. So that argument is void. Making a game is hard. It’s also hard to build publically in a bear market. And especially hard when pressure is on for ‘token go up’ The shift to infra is literally a BS ponzi play to shift narrative. No one will use their chains. Sorry. In gaming you have to have a good game. There hasn’t been one out yet. The lack of original IP in this space (froggie and doggie themed IP is not innovative) is one issue. Also the fact that the extractions P2E model is non sustainable because those people play are in countries that will not spend in your game. The ones that will win will Trojan horse the tech, have a non p2e utility to the token, have their own ecosystem for trading assets that require no crypto, and have a new exciting IP that is not a blatant copy of existing IP. I could go on for hours.
