“When you look at change, the most dangerous people are people who are quiet, because you don’t know what they’re thinking. You can’t address their concerns.” - @TracyMaylett As a leader, listening to ‘the quiet ones’ is essential. #listening #leadership

Sometimes we focus too much on making major transformations to bring about improvements, when small changes could be used just as effectively & will ultimately have a bigger impact. Have you tried the ‘Minimum Viable Transformation’ approach?

“…the crux of psychological safety is that it’s less about what people say and more about how their words are received”. Another great piece by Psych Safety, reminding us that an effective ‘speak up’ culture is also a ‘listen up’ culture.

When we do a jigsaw puzzle, the first thing we do is look at the picture on the box. It’s the same with any task: we first need to understand what we’re trying to achieve. As a leader, it's your job to paint the picture for your team clearly, then they'll get on with the task

An organisation employs various companies to provide coaching support. Then it notices that almost all its growth comes from people being supported by just one of these companies. So they switch the whole programme into that one coaching company. That company? iTS Leadership

How many training courses have you done which were great at the time, but nothing really changed afterwards. So often the learning stays in the room and the investment is wasted. We specialise in helping our clients turn learning into ACTION. #learning

Yesterday’s post was about shorter, smarter meetings. There’s another way to increase effectiveness of meetings too: reduce the number of people. 15mins of deep & meaningful 1-2-1 time creates greater connection than 1hr with a roomful of people. #leadership #connection

Almost every client we speak to complains of having too many meetings. Parkinson’s Law says that work expands to fit the time available, so be ruthless. It’s incredible how efficiently matters can be discussed and agreed if there’s a time limit. #leadership

Just because a group of people is called a team, it doesn’t mean they feel/act like one. If your ‘team’ is disunited, disconnected and disgruntled, DiamondEDGE can unite, connect and er…gruntle…them! We have dozens of happy clients to prove it. Drop us a DM to find out more.
