By the time we filmed this episode everyone on the show knew the Canonization of Creddie was coming, but all week long and especially on the day, the assistants who watched the OG show as kids kept commenting about how surreal it felt to finally watch it happen.

Filming the scene where Creddie finally confront their feelings and kiss was one of my fondest memories of the season. Anticipation was high all day and those of us crowded around TVs back in the office hooted and hollered watching each take.

Miranda’s a big animal lover (as you all probably know) and was hyped about a cat-centric episode—I swear her eyes sparkled like an anime charcacter. It was maybe the most excited she got for an episode pitch…well, with the exception of when we pitched her the s3 finale ofc ;)

That was a real explosion! You should’ve seen our line producer’s face when we told him we wanted to blow up the set--priceless. 🤌The SFX team evacuated the sound stage while they set off the pyros, so we watched it from the stage feed in the writers’ room.

Fun Fact: Montages take FOREVER to film because of the different set ups and costume changes. They are efficient at getting thru story but very inefficient “on the day,” as we would say. But no rom-com is complete without one! Shout to the cast and crew for getting it done!
