@RachaelPSpollen @tommillar_uk @IrishRainforest Polygala alpina is a species of the alps and pyrenees. If you're in Ireland, this is either Heath Milkwort (P. serpyllifolia) or Common Milkwort (P. vulgaris). Hard to be sure from your photo, but looks more like the latter.
