Gut punch losing Jim Herzog yesterday. Hired me to teach Bio in 89, coach baseball in 96, and coach football in 96. I was young and dumb, but he never lost faith in me. I’ll miss the handwritten notes and the locker room visits after a big win or a tough loss. Forever grateful…

I love this building. I have spent the last 30 years teaching and coaching kids in it and have nothing but fond memories. But all good things must come to an end. It is time for a new space to do this important work. It’s not about Football. We’ll be fine. It about ALL our kids!!

Lost Dad 20 years ago today. A couple throwbacks: First job coaching on his JM staff in 87. Became the only father and son to beat the Metro as Outstate Head Coaches in the All Star Game-1994 and 2000. Greatest guy I’ve ever met. Try to make him proud everyday. Miss ya Snuf
