@pcastr tbh i dislike the line of design thinking that views generative music systems as “tools” — once we start making generative musical *instruments* i feel like we’ll land on something that’s cool, open-ended and actually worth exploring over long periods of time

Sketch2Sound only needs 1 linear layer per control (e.g. loudness, pitch) and 40k steps of fine-tuning on a pretrained latent audio DiT! here's a guitar -> sfx example! in collaboration w/ @urinieto, @justin_salamon, #bryanpardo and the legendary @pseetharaman !
